If you're locked out of your device and can't remember your pattern / authentication method / recovery password, or if you didn't enter a recovery password, here are some things to try:

  1. EASY: The "call your phone" trick.

If you have an iPhone, you can call the device from another phone, and once connected, press the home button. This will take you to SpringBoard. From here, just open Cydia, find the iLock package, and uninstall it.

  2. ADVANCED: SSH in and delete the preferences file(s).

If you have SSH installed and turned on, use an SSH client to connect to your device and login as root (if you haven't changed its root password, the default password is "alpine"). Then, at the prompt, type:

    rm -f /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.sicmobile.ilock.*.plist; killall SpringBoard

This will remove all plugins' preferences while keeping your activation intact.

  3. EASY: Restore your device (only as a last resort).

If the above methods fail, you can restore your device in iTunes.
